On Thursday, December 25, 2025 at approximately 3:20am Cambridge Police responded to a Howard St. residence on a report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The scene was made safe and officers performed medical care on the victims until Fire and EMS units arrived, both patients were later transported by EMS to local hospitals where they are receiving treatment. Preliminary investigation shows that the altercation took place at a gathering inside of a residence, this is an isolated incident and there is no broader threat to public safety.
