Five Experienced Police Officers Join CPD

The Cambridge Police Department is pleased to announce that five new police officers have joined the department. All five are POST Certified and have previously worked as Police Officers with other departments in the Greater Boston Area. The new officers are as follows: 

  • Luis Colon Castro 
  • Stephen Correia 
  • Mark McLaughlin
  • Michael Palmer
  • Aron Pavey

The group was sworn-in to their new positions this morning during a ceremony at the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Building. Each will now complete an orientation and field training program to become acquainted with the policies and procedures of the CPD before being assigned to fill vacancies within the patrol division.
