    An individual reported a past hit & run crash at the intersection of Fulkerson St. and Otis St. Reporting person stated their vehicle was struck traveling across the intersection, no injuries were reported.

    Police responded to an Alewife business for a report of shoplifting. The suspect was stopped while attempting to steal $20 in food products, they were identified and formally trespassed from the property.

    Zaul Merida, 28, of Boston, was placed under arrest on charges of Shoplifting by Asportation, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. An employee of a Massachusetts Ave. business reported a Merida had stolen $370.44 worth of merchandise. Officers found Merida fleeing the scene and detained him. Merida displayed tumultuous behavior and physically resisted their efforts to detain him before he was placed into custody.

    A Malden resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Operating with a Suspended License. The violation was uncovered during a traffic stop for an observed violation on Sidney St.

    Thomas Patrick McSorley, 40, of Boston, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealment, and an outstanding warrant issued by the Peabody District Court. An employee of a Massachusetts Ave. business reported McSorley had stolen $31.84 worth of merchandise.
