CPD Assists with Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Parade

On Friday, CPD Officers were in Harvard Sq. to provide traffic assistance and crowd safety in support of the 2026 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Parade. The Hasty Pudding is an annual event put forth by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals, one of the oldest theatrical organizations in the United States. This year’s honoree was Rose Byrne, an Australian actress who is well-known for her roles in many feature length films and television productions.
In addition to Byrne, the parade included Ms. Cambridge, Ms. Massachusetts, along with numerous performers from various Harvard campus groups and the local community. CPD personnel from various units were on-hand to assist along with members of the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD).
