    Asia Carrion, 32, of Boston, was placed under arrest on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise. An employee of a Central Square business reported Carrion had concealed merchandise valued at $100 in an attempt to steal it.

    A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle after License Suspension. The violation was uncovered during a traffic stop for an illegal turn at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Western Ave.

    An employee of a Massachusetts Ave business reported a shoplifting. Suspect is said to have stolen $141.31 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

    Belay Gebrezgiy, 29, of Boston, was placed under arrest on charges of Larceny from a Building, Credit Card Larceny, and Identity Fraud. Police responded to a business in Porter Square for report of a larceny in progress. It was learned that Gebrezgiy had accessed the locker room of a local gym where he stole 6 credit cards and later used them to make unauthorized purchases.
