This past weekend, CPD Officers responded to a complaint of a trespasser inside of a building near Harvard Sq. Officers located the individual and learned they had multiple warrants for their arrest out of courts in both Boston and Cambridge. Officers placed this individual into custody and subsequently discovered that they were in possession of a loaded firearm. This individual did not have a license to carry (LTC) or a firearms identification (FID) card, making their possessions of such items illegal. The firearm and ammunition were both seized as evidence; the individual is now facing related charges in Cambridge District Court.
