Cambridge Police responded to the area of Gray Street to assist another agency with locating a suspect. During the search, a Gray Steet resident called to report a person had just been in their basement and fled through their backyard. A report for breaking and entering was taken.

Jason Baynes, 36, 13 Calander Street in Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault to Murder after multiple witnessed identified him as the suspect who had just stabbed a victim multiple times in the arm.

Cambridge Police documented a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in crosswalk. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries and the operator involved in the crash was issued a citation for a crosswalk violation.
