FIELD ST
Cambridge Police arrested Daniel Rodriguez,of Cambridge. Rodriguez was observed sitting in his running motor vehicle, when a routine CJIS injury revealed he had a warrant out of Rhode Island for Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. After placing Rodriguez in custody, it was discovered that he was in possession of multiple baggies of a white powdery substance believed to be heroin, a pill, and a scale. Rodriguez was charged with Fugitive from Justice on a Court Warrant, Possession of Class A Drug with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Class C Drug.

Cambridge Police received a call for a Chestnut Street resident who was being blackmailed. The victim reported that the suspect had damaging photo evidence and told him to keep paying her in $500 installments. This continued over two days until the victim called police.

A resident of Haverhill was summonsed for having an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle on a public way. An officer was initially dispatched to the intersection of Ames St. and Amherst St. for a parking complaint involving a motorcycle with no license plate.

The Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded the 400 block of Cambridge Street for a report of a pressure cooker on the sidewalk. The pressure cooker was investigated and cleared by the EOD Unit and determined to be abandoned property.
