Police responded to a business in the 700 block of Massachusetts Avenue for an armed robbery in progress. An associate in the business told officers the individual walked behind their counter armed with a screwdriver demanding money. Melvin Brown, 68, of Boston, was placed under arrest for armed assault to rob and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.
