Police make arrest in hit-and-run- crash

Jayson Wilson, who was wanted in connection with a July 9 hit-and-run crash on Vassar Street in Cambridge, was arrested Monday, August 17, at approximately 8:40 a.m. in Everett. 

Wilson was taken into custody at a residence on Rock Valley Avenue by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, with assistance from the Everett Police Department and the State Police technical services.

Wilson was arraigned in Cambridge District Court on charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle
