Ray Johnson, 38, 394 Washington Street in Boston, was arrested for Shoplifting by Concealing from a department store at Massachusetts Avenue. Johnson was observed by an employee concealing merchandise in a backpack and was past the point of purchase before being confronted by Cambridge Police attempting to exit the store without having paid for the goods.

MONSIGNOR OBRIEN HWY
Cambridge Police responded to the area of O’Brien Highway near the Cambridge-Somerville line for a report of a person with a weapon. After speaking with all involved parties, it was determined that during an argument, Manuel Grave, 52, homeless in Cambridge, assaulted and brandished a pair of scissors and threatened another person in his party with them. After a pat frisk, scissors were located on Grave and he was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery.
