HARVARD ST
Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded to Harvard Street and Quincy Street for a report of an unattended bag. Upon arrival, the bag was cleared by Tango 7 and K9 Tony. The bag contained clothing and personal papers and belonged to a resident of Boston. The bag and contents were checked into the CPD property office pending notification of the owner.

Cambridge Police placed John Olivolo, 33, homeless out of Boston, under arrest for two warrants out of Quincy District Court for Vandalizing Property, Trespassing, Disturbing the Peace, and Larceny under $250 from +60/Disable.

Cambridge Police responded to Brattle Street for a disturbance involving a delivery driver and a resident, who stated the driver was purposely withholding a high value package from being delivered to the business she works for. Upon police arrival, the resident provided officers an active GPS location of the package and it did indeed reflect the package in question was still in the truck. A reported technical error was identified, and the box was retrieved and delivered by an officer to its owner.

Cambridge Police responded to Mass. Ave. for a motor vehicle crash and no personal injury with one operator possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Daniel Kelly, 31, 77 Cleveland Street in Arlington, was driving in his car on Mass Ave toward Arlington and rear ended a motor vehicle in traffic. Kelly was still in the motor vehicle when officers arrived on scene. He was placed under arrest for OUI-Liquor after observing his slurred speech, glassy eyes, and strong odor of alcohol on his breath.
