A Florida resident was issued a criminal citation after Cambridge Police observed a motor vehicle that he was operating fail to stop at red light and took a turn on red where it was not allowed, from Springfield Street onto Cambridge Street West bound. The driver was unable to produce a valid driver’s license at the time of the stop.

ASSAULT TO ROB, ARMED c265 S18

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Abdi Yusuf, 53, homeless, was arrested for two counts of Armed Assault to Rob. Yusuf placed a knife to the throat of a homeless man and demanded he hand over his change cup. Yusuf also brandished a knife to a college student, demanded her money and threatened to stab her. The student fled, and Yusuf chased her down the street, knife in hand, screaming at her.
