Aladji Sy, 44, of 27 Lexington Street of Waltham MA, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting by Concealing and Assault and Battery with a dangerous weapon after he was observed by a local Loss Prevention Officer  placing items into his pockets without paying for them. As officers were identifying and recovering the property that he had stolen, Sy became upset at the Loss Prevention Officer and kicked him with a shod foot.
