Keith Hill, 31, 240 Albany Street, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, after he was observed by two detectives and an independent witness concealing merchandise in his backpack, passing all points of purchase, and leaving the store without making payment.

A Dorchester resident reported being stabbed on Rindge Avenue. He stated that as he was walking down Rindge Avenue, he was approached by two unknown males who attempted to take the chain on his neck, and as he fled from his assailants, he was stabbed in the back. The male suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and was unable to identify the suspects.

Cambridge Police responded to a store on Alewife Brook Parkway for a report of a shoplifting that had just occurred. Michael Fleming, 50, 1 Maple Street, Malden, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting By Concealing Merchandise and Receiving Stolen Property (x3) after store employees observed the suspect taking items and removing their tags on several separate accounts during the day.
