Juan Garcia, 44, 23 Roslindale Avenue, Roslindale, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, Possession of a Class E Drug, and on a warrant out of Boston District Court for Larceny Under $250, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Burglarious Instrument. The store’s loss prevention officers stopped the suspect as he attempted to steal two shirts valued at $115.00. Cambridge police also discovered the defendant was in possession of prescription pills without proof of a prescription.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Third Street for a report of a larceny. The victim stated that she left on 10/21 for a business trip and when she returned she discovered that over $20,000 worth of jewelry was missing from her home.
