BROOKLINE ST

The owner of a restaurant on Putnam Avenue reported a breaking and entering to his business. Upon arrival, Cambridge Police discovered that that the glass side door was smashed as a means for entry and two cash registers were destroyed in attempts to get cash out of them.

A Lowell resident was summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. This was the result of a traffic stop for an improper left turn made on Massachusetts Avenue. The vehicle's owner was also summonsed for Allowing Improper Operation of her Motor Vehicle.

Cambridge Police observed Keith Hill involved in a verbal argument in the Carl Baron Plaza in Central Square. Detectives knew Hill from previous incidents and were aware of 2 active warrants for his arrest. Keith Hill, 31, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested on 2 warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Attempt to Commit Crime.

Miguel Vasquez, 24, 10 Glenarm Street, Boston, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for Carrying a Firearm Without a License (x2), Assault With a Dangerous Weapon, and Possessing a Firearm Without FID Card.

Cambridge Police responded to Smith Place for a report of an assault. The reporting person stated that he had come to tow a way a motor vehicle and the suspect was became upset when the tow truck driver explained that he would not be able to tow away the suspect’s motor vehicle, following which, the suspect struck the tow truck driver.

ALBANY ST

Bruce Harris, 67, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Trespassing and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer after he grabbed and twisted the wrist of a Cambridge Police Officer while being escorted from the dormitory section of the shelter. Harris was asked to leave the premises by shelter staff after causing a disturbance and also disregarded instructions by multiple officers to vacate the building.
