The Cambridge Police Department arrested David Warren, 29, 17 Walden Square Road in Cambridge, this morning and charged him with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon after a possible stabbing occurred at Tremont Street on Saturday, October 31 at approximately 11:25 p.m.

Cambridge Police responded to a disturbance at Tremont Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a large Halloween party and Warren, who was holding the handle of a kitchen knife with a broken blade. The victim was identified at a building next to the apartment with a large blood stain and a rip behind his left knee area in his pants. He initially refused medical treatment from police, fire and EMS personnel.  Yesterday, officers responded to a local hospital for further investigation after the victim admitted himself for follow-up treatment to the injuries sustained at the party.

Warren turned himself in and was arrested this morning by the Cambridge Police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The details contained above are allegations. The suspect is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
