The Cambridge Police are seeking assistance identifying the operator involved in a hit and run of a bicyclist (35-year-old Somerville resident) that occurred on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at approximately 7:14 a.m. while the victim was commuting to work on Webster Avenue in Cambridge.  The bicyclist sustained injuries to their left arm, which later required surgery.  Video surveillance footage from a local business was just released to Cambridge Police detectives.

Attached are some images of the older model pickup truck with a large distinctive tool/storage box. Just before the hit and run, the operator of the pickup yelled, honked his horn and then made contact with the bicyclist's handle bar, causing him to fall.

If anyone has any information on the identity of the suspect, we encourage them to call 617-349-3364.
