A Madison Avenue resident reported that her motor vehicle was broken into and the inside was ransacked and a pair of keys was stolen.

A Cambridge resident reported that checks had been cashed in her name, unauthorized withdrawals had been made from her bank account, a bracelet was stolen from her, and her house had been broken into. She reported that the unauthorized withdrawals may have begun in May 2015.

LARCENY OVER $250 BY SINGLE SCHEME c266 S30

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL

Loss prevention manager at a gaming store reported that a former employee admitted to being involved in a lengthy scheme where he made false returns approximately twelve times totaling a loss to the store of $600 in merchandise and another $129 in administrative costs. The employee also made a written statement to the loss prevention manager admitting to his actions and he was summonsed to court for Larceny Over $250 by Single Scheme.

Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue building for an unattended bag left at the front door. The K9 did a sweep of the area and the bag and didn't show a change of behavior or alert on the bag. The bag contained a note book and other personal papers.
