Cambridge Police responded to Brattle Street to investigate a past report of malicious destruction. The security officer of a local university stated that a homeless individual smashed the glass window to an office as well as damaged the windshield of a nearby parked motor vehicle.

The store manager for a Mount Auburn Street grocery store reported on 11/13, an unknown male took 8 bottles of wine, totaling to $128, and walked out the front door without intention of paying for them. The products were recovered when the suspect discarded the backpack containing them.

Christine Sorrentino, 43, 35 Phipps Street, Charlestown, was placed under arrest for Larceny Over $250 and on a warrant out of Somerville District Court for Larceny Over $250 and one out of Charlestown Municipal Court for Uttering a False Check and Gross Fraud. Sorrentino was observed by a local department store’s loss prevention officers stealing $1,196 worth of merchandise.
