BRATTLE ST

Cambridge Police responded to Brattle Street for a suspicious person. During the course of an investigation, officers identified Shawn Wiegand, 41, 87 Litch Field, as having an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court. Wiegand was placed under arrest for the warrant.

At the intersection of Hampshire Street and Windsor Street, a bicyclist rear-ended a motor vehicle while coming to a stop at that intersection. The bicyclist suffered minor physical injuries due to the accident, where he was cleared medically on scene.

A resident of Boston was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after the operator was observed manipulating a cellular device while operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue.
