Sarah Joyce, 28, 176 Marine Road, South Boston, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, Possessing a Class C Drug (x2), Possessing a Class E Drug, and a warrant out of Quincy District Court for Larceny Over $250. Joyce was observed concealing multiple items in her jacket by loss prevention personnel from a local drugstore. While placing Joyce into custody we found clenched in her fist a small cellophane package with 9 pills in it for which she could not produce a prescription.

The manager for a pet store reported that an employee had been caught stealing from the register since November. The employee was subsequently trespassed from the store.

A Loss Prevention employee of a local department store reported that they observed a suspect placing an item under his jacket and then fleeing without making an attempt to pay. This suspect has stolen from the store in the past.

A Watertown resident reported a credit card fraud. The victim stated that his card may have been compromised while at a restaurant in Harvard Square on 12/12 and later used to make fraudulent purchases totaling over $400.
