Cambridge Police responded to a business on Massachusetts Avenue for an unwanted Person. Officers were informed that a male had made verbal threats towards an employee and other patrons. The male then fled the establishment. The male was located a short distance away from the incident location and was placed into custody.

Michael Murphy, 36, of 300 Harrison Avenue, Boston, was placed under arrest regarding a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle during a motor vehicle stop. Murphy was additionally charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License. The owner of the car, who was also a passenger, was issued a summons for Permitting an Unlicensed Operator after stating she was aware that Murphy did not have a license.

The victim was tricked into believing that she won a large cash prize lottery on Facebook but in order for her to receive her winnings, she had to pay the suspect over $50,000 in fees and taxes. The victim paid the money and realized that she was scammed.

Cambridge Police responded to a Technology Square business on a report of an unwanted party. Stefan Jean-Baptiste, 24, of 204 Columbia Street, Cambridge, had caused damaged to several product displays in the store. When asked to leave, he became aggressive and was given multiple opportunities to leave the area. Jean-Baptiste proceeded to taunt employees and enter the store after he had been trespassed. Jean-Baptiste was placed into custody and charged with Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Resisting Arrest.

As a result, the operator of the motor vehicle was issued a summons for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Credit Card Fraud. The passenger of the motor vehicle was issued a summons for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle for his involvement.
