Cambridge Police responded to the Harvard Square area for the report of a person with a weapon after a call was received regarding a possible armed robbery. A male was reported to have brandished a small folding knife after taking $20 from the victim, which was intended to have been payment for Marijuana. The suspect refused to return the money to the victim when asked, and brandished the knife causing the victim to be in fear and fled the area. A subsequent search of the area led to the identification and arrest of Nelson Jules, 38, homeless. Jules was charged with Armed Robbery to Wit a Knife and Malicious Destruction of Property.

Cambridge Police responded to Lakeview Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that one of the involved motor vehicles had fled the scene. There were no injuries.

A resident of Roslindale was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after a motor vehicle was observed traveling 45 MPH in a posted 25 MPH zone on Massachusetts Avenue and Everett Street.
