Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 200 block of Prospect Street after determining the plates were listed as stolen. During the stop, officers determined the driver did not have a driver’s license. Luis Mercado, 32, of Roslindale, was placed under arrest for unlicensed operation, unregistered operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, and receiving stolen property.
