    Police responded to a Massachusetts Ave business for a report of an unwanted party. Reporting party stated a male suspect had elbowed them and was behaving inappropriately. Officers identified the individual and removed them from the property.

    Police responded to a ShotSpotter Activation on Webster Ave. along the Cambridge / Somerville line. Several persons reported hearing a loud bang, however no ballistic evidence or victims were located.

    Officers responded to the intersection of Main St and Portland St for a two car motor vehicle crash. The drivers reported minor injuries and arranged for private tow trucks.

    Janice Horton, 44, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on a charge pf shoplifting by concealing. Officers were called to a business in Central Square for a report of shoplifting. Staff reported Horton has been a habitual offender over the last month at this business.

    NEGLIGENT OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S24
    ERIE ST & MAGAZINE ST
    A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle as a result of a crash on Magazine St. Several witnesses stated they observed the vehicle traveling at high rate of speed before hitting a parked car, ultimately causing it to flip. The operator was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment of injuries sustained.
