JFK ST
Police responded to a JFK St. business for a scam report. An employee stated they'd received a phone call from an unknown suspect requesting them to wire money for the purpose of paying a non-existent bail payment.

MAGAZINE ST
A Magazine St. resident reported they were receiving harassing phone calls at their residence from a known individual.

RAYMOND ST
Police responded to Raymond St. for a report of malicious destruction. Reporting person stated a fence and two signs had been damaged.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Massachusetts Ave. resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked outside their residence. Victim stated $400 of items were stolen from inside.

LAND BLVD
An individual reported multiple personal items were stolen from them at a Land Blvd. establishment.

WINDSOR ST
Police responded to a Windsor St. business for a report of an unwanted party threatening staff members and causing a disturbance. The individual had fled prior to the arrival of police.

BROADWAY
An employee of a Broadway business reported a suspect had stolen multiple items and fled.

PEARL ST
Police responded to a Central Sq. business for a report of a trespasser. The individual was identified and left the property without incident.

CONCORD AVE
A Concord Ave. resident reported that their bicycle, valued at approximately $800, was stolen from a locked bicycle room at their residential building.

SIXTH ST
An individual reported they had been scammed by two unknown suspects pretending to be affiliated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
An employee of a Cambridgeside Pl. business reported an individual stole an item valued at $750 and fled.

VASSAL LN
An individual reported an item, valued at approximately $400, had been stolen from them in the area of Vassal Ln.

HIGHLAND AVE
A Highland Ave. resident reported they had been scammed out of $250,000 by unknown persons claiming to be affiliated with the phone company and a Virginia law enforcement agency.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
An employee of a Massachusetts Ave. business reported a known suspect had stolen $34.29 of merchandise and fled.

WHEELER ST
Yuwen Zhang, 25, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on a charge of Inhaling a Toxic Substance. Officers responded to the lobby of a Wheeler St. residential building and observed Zhang actively inhaling nitrous oxide after being told that it was illegal to do so.

MELLEN ST
Officers responded to Mellen St. for an unattended backpack. The item was inspected by officers from the Explosive Ordnance Unit (EOD) and determined not to be hazardous.

HARVARD YARD
CPD responded to Harvard Yard to assist the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) with a suspicious package. The item was inspected by officers from the Explosive Ordnance Unit (EOD) and determined not to be hazardous.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Leonard Dougenik, 78, of Somerville, was placed under arrest on charges of Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Property Damage. Officers responded to Cambridge St. where it was reported that Dougenik had struck a parked car and was attempting to drive away. During the interaction, Dougenik displayed multiple indicators of impairment.

ESSEX ST
An Essex St. resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $800, was stolen from a locked bike room located at their residential building.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
An employee of a Massachusetts Ave. business reported an unknown suspect had stolen $768.10 of merchandise and fled.

SIXTH ST
An individual reported multiple personal items, valued at approximately $320, had been stolen by an unknown suspect.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE & PLEASANT ST
Police took a report for a past assault & battery that occurred near Pleasant St. and Massachusetts Ave. Victim stated they had been physically assaulted by an individual who threatened them with a box cutter. No injuries were reported.

SHERMAN ST
Police responded to a Sherman St. residence for a report of a past assault. The reporting person stated they'd confronted a utility worker about their truck's safety lights and the worker attempted to slap their phone.

PALMER ST
Joseph Jean, 22, of Lawrence was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous weapon following an altercation on Palmer St. Victim stated that during an argument, Jean armed himself with a kitchen knife and threatened them with physical harm.
