COLUMBIA TER
A resident of Columbia Ter. reported that an unknown person had attempted to gain access to their apartment through an emergency exit door.

CAMBRIDGE ST & WINDSOR ST
Police responded to Cambridge St. for a motor vehicle crash. One party sustained minor injuries.

MAIN ST
Police responded to Main St. for a larceny report. Victim stated that numerous items valued at approximately $5000 were stolen or damaged by a moving company.

GRANITE ST
Police responded to Granite St. for report of a suspicious person. The individual fled prior to the arrival of officers.

GREEN ST
Gary McDonald, 70, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a charge of Possession of a Class B Substance. Officers observed McDonald in Central Sq. engaged in the suspected use of illegal narcotics. During the interaction McDonald was in possession of a white, rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine.

CHAUNCY ST
A Chauncy St. resident reported that a package, containing $450 in merchandise, was stolen from the front of their residence.

GREEN ST
Lemar Lugo, 36, unhoused, was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Brockton District Court.

JFK ST Robert Leary, 22, of Dorchester, was placed under arrest on a charge of Operating Under Influence - Drugs. An officer observed Leary actively smoking marijuana in the driver's seat of a running vehicle.

RINDGE AVE
Police responded to a Rindge Ave. residence for report of a fight. Involved person said an argument between neighbors about throwing trash out of a window had turned physical. No injuries were reported.

ALPINE ST
An Alpine St. resident reported their vehicle had been broken into while parked outside their residence, car parts were reported missing.

VASSAR ST
A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Animal Cruelty. Police and Animal Control responded to Vassar St. where a dog was left inside of a vehicle and the interior temperatures were making it a hazardous situation. The dog was removed and unharmed.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Somerville resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $800, was stolen from a locked pole on Massachusetts Ave.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a Fawcett St. residence for a larceny report. Victim stated they had left an item in their building's mailroom for pick-up, when someone came to retrieve it the item was no longer there.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Harvard St. resident reported a license plate had been stolen off their vehicle.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Police responded to a Cambridge St. residence for a larceny report. Victim reported an unknown suspect stole approximately $95 of items.

WINTHROP ST
An employee of a Harvard Sq. business reported that their locked e-bike, valued at approximately $500, was stolen while parked outside the business.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Cambridge resident was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise. A store employee reported that the individual had concealed $42.81 of merchandise in their backpack at a Central Sq. business.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Somerville resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $500, was stolen from the basement of a Massachusetts Ave. residential building.

COLUMBIA ST & HAMPSHIRE ST
Police responded to the area of Columbia St. and Hampshire St. for a report of an armed robbery. Victim stated an unknown person approached them on a moped, showed a knife, and demanded the victim's backpack.

BEECH ST & MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Mathew McFarland, 39, unhoused, was placed under arrest for two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court and will face additional charges related to the illegal possession of narcotics and a large knife. Officers recognized McFarland as having a warrant and stopped him near Porter Sq. During the interaction it was discovered that McFarland was in possession of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and assorted pills without a proper prescription.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to Alewife Brook Pkwy. for the report of a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.

FOREST ST
Police responded to a Forest St. residential building for a report of suspicious activity. Reporting person stated they saw hand prints on the outside of their window and believed an unknown person may have tried to open it.

BEECH ST & MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Michael Greenwood, 58, of Somerville was placed under arrest for two (2) warrants out of Boston District Court.

FRANKLIN ST & WESTERN AVE
Officers responded to Franklin St. and Western Ave. for a hit & run crash involving a scooter. Reporting person stated they were struck by a motor vehicle in the intersection on River St.. Minor injuries were reported.

CHURCH ST
Officers responded to a Church St. restaurant for a report of a disturbance. A restaurant manager reported an unknown suspect had approached several tables in the outdoor dining area and spit on patrons food.

WALDEN SQUARE RD
Police responded to a Walden Square Rd. residence for a report of a dispute between neighbors. Reporting person stated their have been on-going issues with their neighbor over a dog.

SOMERVILLE AVE
An employee of a Somerville Ave. business reported a suspect had stolen $200 of merchandise and fled.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to Massachusetts Ave. for a motor vehicle crash between a moped and an electric bike. One individual was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
