CENTRAL SQUARE
Police responded Central Square for a report of a fight. Victim stated they had been physically assaulted by an acquaintance during an argument. Minor injuries were reported.

RIVER ST
Police responded to a business on River Street for the report of a shoplifting. Store employee reported that a suspect had stolen $26.47 worth of merchandise.

CAMBRIDGEPARK DR
Police responded Cambridgepark Drive for a report of larceny from a building. Reporting person stated an unknown suspect had stolen multiple packages with an estimated value of $5,000.

TEMPLE STREET
Police took a report for a larceny. Reporting person stated multiple furniture items had been stolen.

HARVARD SQUARE
Police responded to a Harvard Square hotel on a report of threats. Hotel staff stated an unknown person has made threats against them and the facility.

MAIN ST
A Main Street business reported that a rental vehicle has not been returned to them as agreed upon in the contract.

NORFOLK ST
Police took a report for a motor vehicle crash. Operator stated they swerved to avoid an erratic cyclist and struck a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.

CLIFTON ST
Police were dispatched to a Clifton Street residence for a larceny report. The victim stated that over the past several days they have had two packages stolen and today a third was ripped open and left. All stolen items have an estimated value of $50.

TEMPLE ST
Police responded to a residence on Temple Street for a harassment report. Reporting person stated there has been an on-going issue with a neighbor.

PLYMPTON ST
Police responded to Plympton Street for a hit and run crash report. Reporting person stated their vehicle was struck and damaged in traffic by a driver making an illegal turn.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Police responded to Central Square for reports of past shoplifting. Store employee stated a customer had attempted to steal a $20 bottle of wine.

PORTER SQUARE
A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of shoplifting. An employee of a Porter Square business reported the suspect had attempted to steal $25.00 worth of merchandise.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Marie Costa, 50, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a charge of removing a theft detection device and possession of a class c substance. Costa was observed by Loss Prevention on surveillance cameras removing the anti-theft security device from merchandise while in the store. Costa was later found to have suspected Klonopin pills on her person.

TEMPLE ST
Police responded to Temple Street on a report of threats. Reporting person stated a known individual had made verbal threats to beat them up.

WASHINGTON AVE
Police took a report for fraud. The victim recently received mail showing fraudulent activity on an online account.

ELIOT ST & JFK ST
Police responded to JFK St for a report of a hit & run motor vehicle crash. Reporting person stated their vehicle was struck from behind on JFK St.

WARE ST
Police responded to Ware Street for a scam report. Victim stated someone claiming to be a representative of a cable company charged them $236 for a non-existent promotion.

MT AUBURN ST
Police responded to Mt. Auburn Street for a report of a hit-and-run crash with property damage. Victim stated their vehicle had been struck while parked in a parking lot, causing damage.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Ivan Rodriguez, 49, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation. Store employee reported they had observed Rodriguez enter a Central Square business and steal over $160 worth of merchandise. Officers located Rodriguez nearby with the items in his possession.

MEMORIAL DR
An employee of a Memorial Drive rental car business reported that a vehicle rented in May had not been returned as agreed in the contract.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue address for a drug-use complaint.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Officers responded to a business located on Cambridge Street for a past Larceny report. Reporting person stated they had delivered food valued at $84.42, the credit card used by the suspect later rejected the charge.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Police responded to a Central Square business for a report of a larceny. Victim stated their purse, containing debit cards and $600 cash, had been stolen from inside.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Police responded to the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue on a report of an unattended bag. Item was inspected by officers from the Explosive Ordnance Unit and determined not to be hazardous.

CONCORD AVE
A Cambridge resident reported an incident of check fraud. The victim stated that a check they recently utilized had been altered and multiple unauthorized attempts were made to cash the check.

PROSPECT ST & ST PAUL ST
A Medford resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to the Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Violation was uncovered during a traffic stop.

CAMBRIDGEPARK DR
Bridget Flaherty, 37, of Arlington, was placed under arrest on six (6) active warrants out of Cambridge District Court.

CENTRAL SQUARE
Dante Davis, 35, of Somerville, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Woburn District Court.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Eric Jackson, 40, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on charges of Operating Under the Influence-Liquor, and having an Open Container of Alcohol inside a Motor Vehicle. Officers interacted with Jackson while on the scene of a motor vehicle crash he was involved in. Jackson displayed multiple indicators of impairment and an open container of an alcoholic beverage was observed inside his vehicle.

PORTER SQUARE
Jessica Welch, 36, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on six (6) active warrants out of courts in Cambridge and Somerville.

PORTER SQUARE
Mathew McFarland, 39, unhoused, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.

ALPINE ST
Police responded to Alpine Street for a report of a Breaking & Entering to a Motor Vehicle. Victim stated personal papers, as well as $20 in cash and loose change were stolen.
