Police responded to Newtowne Ct. for a moped theft in progress. The suspects fled upon the arrival of officers.

FRANKLIN ST & WESTERN AVE
Charles Darcy, 59, unhoused was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Class A Substance and Possession of a Class B Substance. Officers interacted with Darcy near Central Sq. where he was observed with suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine.

SOMERVILLE AVE
An employee of a Somerville Ave. business reported a suspect had stolen $500 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Police took a report of a stolen bag inside a business in Massachusetts Ave. Victim stated to have then noticed multiple unauthorized card transactions with a total value of $50.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Fitchburg resident reported that some of their bicycle parts, valued at $140, were stolen from the back of a building located on Massachusetts Ave.

MUSEUM WAY
Police took a report of a Breaking & Entering on Museum Way. Victim stated they suspected an unknown person broke into their residence and stayed there while they were away.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A Cambridge resident reported a past assault with dangerous weapon on Massachusetts Ave. Victim stated a known individual threatened to stab their bike tires with a knife after a physical altercation.

LOPEZ ST
Police responded to Lopez St. for a past larceny report. Victim stated their laptop valued at $1,199 was stolen from their residence.

BROADWAY & FAYETTE ST
A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to the Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The violations were uncovered during a traffic stop by the intersection of Broadway and Fayette St.

MONSIGNOR OBRIEN HWY
Officers responded to Monsignor Obrien Hwy. for a past hit & run crash report. Reporting person stated their vehicle was struck while parked, causing damage.

ERIE ST
Police responded to Erie St. to document a report of a past Breaking & Entering to an apartment. Victim stated there have been multiple incidents with building maintenance workers entering their apartment without consent.

HARVARD ST
A Harvard St. resident reported that a package, containing $1,198 in merchandise, was stolen from the lobby of their residence.

An employee of a Brattle St. business reported a suspect had stolen $15 of merchandise and fled prior to the arrival of officers.
