Teams of 2-4 people will travel the park after dark, looking for checkpoints using a map. But beware of vampires; they will be searching the park for teams to steal their points and transform them into vampires! The first team to find all of the checkpoints without being caught by the vampires wins! Bring a flashlight, wear a costume if you want, and the candy is on us!

About Orienteering
Orienteering is a racing sport where participants use a map to find a series of checkpoints. There is no mandatory route, so it’s up to the participants to determine where they need to go and how they are going to get there. While orienteering is a competitive sport, many people take part simply for the joy of being outside and exercising their brains. It’s a fun, healthy, and educational activity for all ages and experience levels!
The event is funded by the City of Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs
