Baby University (Baby U), modeled after Harlem Children's Zone, is an intensive family support program that serves Cambridge families who have children three years old and younger. The program provides parent education, playgroups, one-on-one visits, and beneficial community resources through workshops offered on Saturday mornings over a series of 14 weeks.
Baby U provides opportunities for parents to connect and learn more about important parenting topics like brain development, family literacy, and positive discipline, all while strengthening their parent/child relationship. Fathers and mothers participate together and separately, sharing their thoughts and learning from each other in small group settings.
