Beginning Thursday, September 17, Council on Aging programming returns to the Russell Youth and Community Center (680 Huron Ave.).
Classes will be offered on Thursday and Friday mornings through Friday, May 28. Cambridge residents ages 60 and older can register for Tai Chi, Portrait Drawing, Dance, Yoga, and Strong and a Stretched exercise class Older adults are also welcome to join a drop-in Knitting Group and to socialize in the building's Second Floor Common Area.
Class Schedule
Thursdays and Fridays, September 17 through May 28.
Thursday:
- 9 - 10 a.m. Tai Chi
- 10 - 11:30 a.m. Portrait Drawing
- 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Yoga
Friday:
- 9 - 10 a.m.: Dance
- 10 - 11:30 a.m. Strong and Stretched
- 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Knitting Group(drop-in through 12 p.m.)
Classes will not be held on the following days: November 26 - 27; December 24 - 25, and 31; January 1; February 18 - 19; March 26; April 22 - 23.
