Sign Up for "Take Care," a Virtual Weekly Informational Group for Caregivers, March 19 - April 16

The Cambridge Council on Aging is partnering with Paine Senior Services to offer "Take Care," a virtual informational group for non-professional caregivers who care for someone who lives in Cambridge.

The goal of the meetings is to provide practical information and suggestions about meeting the needs of the person receiving care and the needs of the caregiver. Participants will learn about available resources in the Cambridge/Boston area, how to navigate various care systems (including medical and legal systems) and more.

The group will meet for five weeks via Zoom from 12 - 12:50 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Thursday, March 19
  • Thursday, March 26
  • Thursday, April 2
  • Thursday, April 9
  • Thursday, April 16

Sessions will be facilitated by Vincent McCarthy, LMHC, Director of Client Services at the Cambridge Council on Aging, and Liz Aguilo, LICSW, Director of Paine Senior Services. 

Participants are encouraged to register before March 18 and to attend all sessions.
