Description

Learn how the City is working to reduce trash with its Zero Waste Master Plan, and how you can make a difference at work and at home.

Recycling Director Mike Orr will share what happens to Cambridge's waste, why it's important to recycle and compost, and we'll dive deep into topics like:

1. Where do recyclables go after the City collects it? And how do we actually know it's recycled?

2. What is anaerobic digestion and why does the City send food waste there?

3. What is the City doing to encourage reduce and reuse?

4. Whatever questions you may have!
