  •  DPW Budget hearing:
    • BigBelly’s being purchased this summer and swapping out nearly all Victor Stanley open-top trash or recycle receptacles
    • One of the largest increase in DPW’s budget is curbside recycling contract
      • Two EVs are being added to the contract starting 10/31/25.
  • Free Store recap
  • Move-out waste Pilot results
    • 125 pieces of furniture, 65 bags of household goods recovered
    • People loved the program and asked if it would be offered again.
  • 6/9 City Council hearing: Zero Waste Master Plan 2.0
  • Volunteer opportunities: Fresh Pond Day, Hoops N Health

You may also email or mail written comments for inclusion in public comments in lieu of speaking during the meeting. The Committee Chair must grant permission to non-members who request to speak at the meeting.
