Community Meeting Notice: Third On-Site Community Meeting Thursday, June 4, 2025 from 4-6 p.m.
The Department of Public Works and the City's Community Development Department will be hosting an on-site Community Meeting on Wednesday, June 4 from 4-6 p.m. Anyone interested in attending can meet project staff at the corner of Chetwynd Road and Newell Street to discuss the Chetwynd Road Reconstruction Project.
The focus of this meeting will be to review the updated draft plans for the street, incorporating feedback we received at the last on-site meeting in April. The project is part of the City’s Complete Streets initiative to design and operate streets that are safe for all users including pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and public transit users.

Chetwynd Road Reconstruction Project: On-site Community Walk Tuesday, April 16, 5-7 p.m.
Chetwynd Road from Newell Street to the end is scheduled for reconstruction in 2024 as part of the City’s Five-Year Plan for Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction.
The Department of Public Works and the City’s Community Development Department will be hosting an on-site walk Tuesday, April 16 from 5-7 p.m. Anyone interested in attending can meet project staff at the corner of Chetwynd Road and Newell Street.
