In observance of the Patriots Day holiday on Monday, April 21, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. The offices of Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will be closed for the holiday, but the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind for the remainder of the week. There will be no street cleaning on the Patriots Day holiday. Streets that would normally be cleaned on April 21 (third Monday of the month) will instead be cleaned on Tuesday, April 29.
