Cool Off This Summer: Cambridge Waterplay Features Are Now Open

With temperatures expected to rise into the upper 80s this week, the City of Cambridge is excited to welcome the return of waterplay season! Waterplay features at many neighborhood parks and playgrounds are now open for the summer and offer a fun, free way for kids to cool off and stay active.

Children of all ages can splash, spray, and play in a variety of water features—like splash pads, sprinklers, and spouts—available seven days a week at the following locations:

  • Alden Park
  • Bergin Park
  • Clarendon Ave Park
  • Cooper Park
  • Corporal Burns Playground
  • Dana Park
  • David Nunes Park
  • Donnelly Field
  • Franklin St Park
  • Fulmore Park
  • Glacken Field
  • Gold Star Mothers Park
  • Greene-Rose Heritage Park
  • Hoyt Field
  • Hurley St Park
  • Kemp Playground
  • Maple Ave Park
  • MLK School Playground
  • Paine Park
  • Pine St Park
  • Reverend Williams Park
  • Riverside Neighborhood Park
  • Sacramento Field
  • Sennott Park
  • Timothy J. Toomey Jr. Park
  • Warren Pals Park

Note: Waterplay features at school playgrounds will be turned on after the school year ends, beginning June 24.

Undergoing Repairs: Riverside Press Park is currently being repaired. We will share an update once it is repaired.
