Cambridge Urban Forest Master Plan 5-Year Update Public Meeting on November 20

Urban Forest Master Plan Meeting Flyer

Did you know all the trees in our City are part of Cambridge’s urban forest? Together, these trees make our neighborhoods more beautiful, keep our walkways cool and shaded, and help clean our air and water.

Join us for the Cambridge Urban Forest Master Plan 5-Year Update Public Meeting on Thursday, November 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) Main Cafeteria at 459 Broadway.

Thanks to years of effort, Cambridge reached a major milestone in 2024: 30% of the City is now shaded by tree canopy! Learn what helped us reach this milestone, share your experiences from the past five years, and help shape priorities for the years ahead!

After years of canopy loss from climate change, development, and other challenges, we have a lot to celebrate with this milestone. But there is still more to do to grow and protect our trees, especially in areas that need them most.
