Nominate a Public Works Employee for Outstanding Performance by May 1

This year, the Cambridge Department of Public Works will recognize four employees who demonstrate exemplary work performance with the presentation of the 32nd Annual "Commissioner's Award for Outstanding Performance" at a ceremony during National Public Works Week on Wednesday, May 20.

Supervisors, peers, professional colleagues, community members or others who are familiar with the person's work may nominate individuals. You may not nominate relatives, your own supervisor, or yourself.

Selection Criteria

• Making strong progress on important DPW goals.
• Excelling at teamwork, communication, and coordination.
• Demonstrating outstanding leadership, whether guiding a team or leading by example.
• Finding ways to improve efficiency or save resources in DPW operations.
• Consistently performing daily DPW duties at a high level.

Nominations are due by Friday, May 1.
