Sidewalk Reconstruction

The Department of Public Works winter moratorium on excavations in the public right of way ends on March 23, 2022 at 7:00am.  Contractors may apply for Excavation Permits on the City’s permitting portal at https://cambridgema.viewpointcloud.com/

Temperature sensitive work such as final top course asphalt paving and concrete sidewalks must be approved by DPW in advance until low temperatures are consistently above 40 degrees.

Certain large projects will be required to attend the DPW’s weekly construction coordination meeting at 9:00am on Monday mornings.  These meetings will be held remotely beginning April 4, 2022.  Additional information on the coordination meetings and the 2022 construction season will follow in a future email message.
