Walden St Roadway Paving Postponed until Thursday, September 21st

The final roadway paving on Walden Street has been postponed until Thursday, September 21st due to wet weather. Roadway preparation for paving will take place Wednesday, September 20th. The paving limits will be Walden Street from Garden Street to Sherman Street.
Equipment that may be heard during paving operation will be, but not limited to, pavers, vibratory rollers, and vehicle back up alarms.

We understand parking is extremely restricted. Please obey all signs for crews to be efficient in operations.

  • Cars in the way of paving operations may be subject to towing.
  • If your driveaway is within the limits of new paving, please plan trips accordingly.

* Newly paved areas will be reopened to users as conditions allow, typically within a few hours of completion. *

What to Expect during Paving

  • Work hours will be 7 AM to 6 PM.
  • Vehicle access in and out of properties will be restricted during the paving operation. Please plan vehicle and parking trips accordingly.
  • “No Parking” signs will be posted; please be sure to check dates/times.
  • Emergency vehicles and City services will have access at all times.

Any additional restoration items related to the project, including back of sidewalk work and pavement markings, will be completed by the contractor in the coming weeks before the end of the construction season. After paving, the project is not considered complete until all project related restoration items have been resolved.
