Help Cambridge Students Separate their Recycling and Food Waste

Love recycling? Love kids? Volunteers are needed to help Cambridge Public School students sort their waste when they’re cleaning up after lunch (or breakfast)!

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Help students separate recycling and food waste
  • Share tips to make sorting easier
  • Remove incorrectly sorted items from bins (gloves available)
  • Thank students and help them feel good about their efforts!

We’re looking for 50 volunteers to help in September, especially the first two weeks of school. We also welcome volunteers throughout the school year. There are 13 cafeterias, and lots of kids who need guidance, so your help would be so helpful! If you can tell others about this opportunity, that would be appreciated.

Sign up at this link to volunteer!
