The City of Cambridge Free Seed Library is now open in the Department of Public Works building at 147 Hampshire Street. All are welcome to take seed packets. Please be mindful of the library stock when taking packets. Residents are also encouraged to donate seeds if they would like to.
If you are new to growing food, without outdoor space, or without direct sunlight, do not be discouraged.
Almost all packets have thorough growing instructions on the back. Many of the plants can be grown indoors, in pots, and without direct sunlight.
