COA Senior Center

Cambridge Council on Aging

The Cambridge Council on Aging (COA) works to promote and support the health and independence of Cambridge adults age 60 and older. Through our two Senior Centers, located in Central Square and North Cambridge, we offer a variety of recreational classes, monthly support and discussion groups, special events and guest speakers, trips in and around New England, technology support, and other opportunities that help enhance seniors’ lives. We also offer Medicare consultations and provide referrals to local agencies to support the health, wellness, and safety of seniors.

We welcome seniors to spend time in our Senior Centers connecting with others, enjoying a meal, or engaging in a class or activity. Our staff are happy to assist seniors on a walk-in basis or by appointment. To contact COA, please call 617-349-6200.

Learn more about the COA by watching a presentationabout COA's resources and services or an interview with Cambridge Senior Center Director Alicia Johnson
