City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and pay stations. The Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will have the gates open from 7 a.m.- 5 p.m., though the administrative office will be closed.

Curbside collection of recycling, compost, and trash will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Please note, yard waste pick-up and street cleaning have ended for the winter season and will resume in April 2026.
