Adult Basic Education and HiSET/GED Prep

Are you looking to improve your reading, writing and math skills?
Are you hoping to take your high school equivalency test?

Join the Adult Basic Education program at the Community Learning Center (CLC)! We offer classes in four levels of math and reading, from beginner’s to high school level. 

Classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15-9:15 p.m. from September to June. We also offer summer classes.

In addition, CLC students have access to services, including:
• Career advising
• Education advising
• Support for students with learning differences and disabilities

Information Sessions and Placement Tests

To learn more about our adult education and GED/HiSET prep program, sign-up to attend an information session at our Central Square location (5 Western Avenue). During the session, you learn about the program and take a placement test (if you do not finish during the session, can come back on another day to complete it).
