Work with Us

The CLC offers a variety of career opportunities as teachers, advisors, administrative professionals and as community-based outreach workers. CLC staff are committed, talented, and hardworking, guided by the center’s core mission and values.

Our students are predominantly Cambridge residents who come from a variety of ethnic, linguistic and racial backgrounds, and who are currently enrolled in English (ESOL) classes, Adult Basic Education (HiSET/GED) classes, or job training programs

Current positions: 

• Part-time ESOL Teachers
• Part-time Math Teachers
• Part-time Reading and HiSET Test Prep Teachers
• Part-time Amharic Speaking Community Engagement Team (CET) Outreach Worker
• Part-time Haitian Creole Speaking Community Engagement TEam (CET) Outreach Worker

We have two locations: 5 Western Avenue (in Central Square) and 286 Rindge Ave. (in North Cambridge).

Volunteer with Us!
